The DAP contains many individuals of diverse viewpoints. Some are more vocal than others. Where the BN desires to create dissension it will feed the emotions of the more disaffected. Having contributed to the discord, it has but to sit back and wait for victory to fall like a ripe plum into its hands.

Those who, for whatever reasons, make statements which tend to be devisive and create negative emotions, are valuable agents for the BN coalition. They help to maintain the corruption, nepotism and loss of human rights in Malaysia. As such they have unwittingly changed sides, and those who were most trustworthy become suspect.

If the battle must be fought without them beside us, let it be so. It would be better if they were not among those who oppose us. The BA has chosen a candidate, difficult though the decision was. For the moment we must join forces against the common foe, and reserve epithets for a time when such behaviour is less distracting.

After the battle, for the winners there will be advantage to share. For the losers there will be price to pay. For others, who chose to remain at the sidelines, theirs is neither glory nor gain, but only the knowledge that events have proceeded without them.

That they might have aided is their sorrow. That they may have hindered will add to their regret. We do not judge them. We await their return.
